The Tikal:
The Tikal is one of the largest historic sites of the Pre-Columbian Maya civilization. It is located in Northern Guatemala. The Tikal was one of the most powerful kingdoms of the ancient Maya civilization. The Tikal is the best understood of Mayan Architecture. The site dates back to the 4th Century B.C. The temple rises up to 47 meters or 154 ft. high. The site is part of Guatemala's "Tikal National Park", for tourist to be able to experience the temple.
The Antigua:
The Antigua is a city located in the central highlands in Guatemala. It is popular for it's famous well-preserved Spanish Baroque, a period of artistic style that used motion and easy-to-understand art. It has a number of ruins made from colonial Churches.The Antigua is noticed for it's very complex and elaborate religious festivals/celebrations, during "Lent, then going on to "Holy Week" and Easter" Due to the popularity of the Antigua to tourist, it is often used as a central location in where many choose where and how to set up base and from there, they will be able to visit other tourist areas in Guatemala and Central America.
